Production Operations and Engineering consists of a wide range of media centric roles. We are responsible for managing the entire life cycle of A+E's programming. This is where we produce, transform, broadcast and distribute content as well as run the tech infrastructure for the Media Supply chain. THE ROLE: Format Producer- (Temporary)
Execute Post Production of program content in a file-based environment from project assignment through delivery to all platforms and clients, on time and with 100% accuracy in compliance with A+E's technical specifications and S&P guidelines.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Screen and prepare program content for formatting. Identify expendable content to accommodate new sponsored content while preserving artistic integrity, story arc and editorial continuity
• Submit media requests for source materials and graphics creation
• Prepare detailed edit notes and/or EDLs for Supervised and Unsupervised edit sessions
• Fulfill brand style and content quality requirements, reconcile technical issues
• Modify objectionable content to conform to S&P guidelines
• Maintain detailed edit session and mastering records, enter relevant metadata into databases, create take sheets, issue delivery notifications
• Evening and/or weekend shifts may be required to support network scheduling initiatives
• Reports to Managing Producer, Production

YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• BA Television Production / Communications
• 5-7 years' experience in television production is essential.
• Experience with state-of-the-art audio and video post-production techniques and facilities, including a strong technical understanding of broadcast-quality production is required.
• Experience working in a file-based production environment.
