Job Description
THE ROLE:
The Director of Marketing Production Operations for Lifetime and LMN is responsible for leading the planning, execution and delivery of marketing production for a high-volume slate of scripted movies and original programming. This role requires deep experience navigating creative production solutions, particularly when working with dailies, work-in-progress footage, and evolving creative assets.
The Director partners closely with Creative, Account Management, Brand Marketing, Live Action, and Post-Production teams to ensure campaigns are operationally sound while remaining flexible to the realities of scripted production. This position serves as the executional bridge between creative intent and production feasibility, ensuring timelines, budgets, and workflows remain aligned as creative materials evolve.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Own and oversee day-to-day marketing video production execution for Lifetime/LMN, working in close partnership with the Design Production team throughout the production lifecycle.
• Own macro-level budget oversight for Lifetime and LMN. Oversee brand-level production budget forecasting and resourcing, escalating risks proactively to the Senior Director.
• Lead and performance-manage Production Manager, Coordinator and Sr. Asset Manager, ensuring clear ownership, prioritization, and accountability.
• Partner closely with Legal, Standards & Practices, Brand, and Creative teams to navigate approvals, risk mitigation, and content handling requirements.
• Serve as the senior Lifetime/LMN operational partner to Creative, Account Management, Global Marketing, Live Action, Design Production and other key stakeholders, resolving cross-brand challenges and aligning capacity with creative ambition.
• Identify, engage and work with external vendors, to be sure teams are aligned on project and brand expectations, legal requirements, and delivery standards.
• Continuously refine workflows and processes to improve efficiency while maintaining rigor around sensitive material.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in marketing production, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead and drive accountability through structure, clarity, and expectation-setting.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, including comfort interfacing with senior leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise in budget oversight, resource planning, and operational risk management.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority campaigns simultaneously without loss of rigor or discretion. Deep understanding of post-production workflows, formats, platforms, and delivery requirements sufficient to guide teams and evaluate decisions.
• Experience optimizing workflows and implementing scalable operational processes.
• Strong working knowledge of Airtable or comparable project management tools used to manage post-production workflows.
• Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and address them upstream rather than reactively.
