Job Description
The Digital Production Assistant will be a support member of the O&O TVE Digital Production team tasked with helping to execute digital video and editorial projects that support 2024 sales and revenue goals across History, A&E and Lifetime's owned and operated apps and websites. This is a temporary contract role. This position reports to the Director, Digital Editorial Operations.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Digital Production Assistant will assist the Producer(s) and Director on executing the below projects:
• Assist with building the digital content to increase views for tentpole programming. Support could include responsibilities such as researching and curating playlists.
• Execute batch projects, such as updating tags or images; QAing content; auditing categories
• With guidance from the Director and Producers, build out and launch backlog of app sections.
• Assist producers in fulfilling sponsorships arising from 2024 Upfronts.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
You'll learn how to build engaging digital programming experiences that expand the reach of a cable network. You'll learn to collaborate and communicate across all kinds of teams, both moving along existing projects and getting opportunities to help spearhead new ones.
YOUR STORY:
You are detail-oriented, organized and a self-motivated team player who can also take the initiative and own a project from start to finish. Your team can rely on you to stay organized and on track and not let tasks slip through the cracks. You are a quick learner-and retain that knowledge-can follow detailed processes. You aren't afraid to ask questions and over-communicate when needed.
• Strong digital skills with experience working in at least one content management system
• Excellent computer skills, and are proficient in Microsoft Products
• A working knowledge of different streaming platforms and OTT devices
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Some experience with basic HTML
• Some knowledge of SEO
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
• A love of information and entertainment content
• 1-2 years of experience working in the digital space
• Bachelor's degree preferred
CompensationContract Hourly Pay Rate: $28.00
The pay rate displayed serves as a good faith estimate for this role.

such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and
