Required Experience:
Programming Duties
• Distribute submission forms for pitched shows. Archive all submissions and review with E.P. to determine interest.
• Upon PAC approval, send producer current tech specs, as well as show clocks, credit format/style guide, Extreme Music agreement, graphics package (where applicable), and contact production to have archive vendor deal list sent.
• Obtain delivery schedule, which must include: outline, script, rough cut, fine cut, all program deliverables, and rights bible.
• Confirm schedule is acceptable with scheduling department, and the respective programming E.P. Once it is approved, it can be added to the production report.
• Schedule and participate in a Rights 101 call between the producers and Rights & Clearances Dept. for any programs containing 3rd party materials (Biography Franchise, Inside Story)
Administrative Duties
• Monitor all delivery milestones and notify E.P.s of arrival dates in a weekly e-mail.
• Confirm materials arrive and make note in production report.
• Contact supplier if material does not arrive on the specified date.
• Meet weekly with scheduling to determine air schedule. All programs with 3rd party materials require a three week buffer between delivery of rights bible and air. Other programs require a two week buffer zone between tape delivery and air.
• Track and confirm technical delivery with Stamford acquisitions and make note in production report.
• Coordinate with promo, PR, and social media to provide materials in a timely fashion.
• Coordinate the delivery of accelerated programs with all appropriate departments.
• Fulfill all dub orders using the WINMLS system.
• Monitor all invoices and approve when appropriate.
• Track all payments, excluding mutual execution.
• Create zero cost short form PACs in PPL.
• Approve and process dub invoices using the Aspen system.
Rights duties
• Track rights bible submission with producer via Debut.
• Track and maintain records for any exception to minimum rights.
• Track unresolved rights bibles and incomplete licenses.
• Work with E.P.s to determine what programs require S&P review.
• Coordinate 3rd party, and program license renewal process.
• Review and approve scripts, credits, chyrons, and synopses in Debut. Once approved, move documents to PPL.
Required Education: College degree. 1-2 years tv experience desired.
