THE ROLE: Assistant, Production A+E STUDIOS
The role of the Assistant, Production is to manage the day-to-day aspects of A+E Studios' Head of Production. This person's primary responsibility is to help the senior executives oversee scripted pilots, series, miniseries and movies by communicating with each show's personnel daily and analyzing, researching and troubleshooting production scenarios on all assigned projects. -
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Provide administrative support to Head of Production, including answering phones, managing executive's schedules, travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, etc.
• Set up all shows during prep and provide oversight throughout delivery
• Coordinate above-the-line travel
• Initiate dialogue and establish effective workflows with the external production teams
• Distribute A+E Studios' production packet and answer subsequent questions about policies
• Create and maintain PIX distribution lists
• Download and distribute cuts; create streaming links for executives
• Compile and review cast and crew deal points
YOUR STORY:
• BA/BS Degree
• Must have 2+ years of relevant experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential
• Candidate must have the ability to work well in a fast-pace environment, work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Must be able to work well in a team environment and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers
• Passion for TV and cutting-edge content
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in AirTable and Scenechronize and/or familiar with on set paperwork a plus
