WEA & ADA COLLEGE MARKETING REP
Warner Music Group is seeking creative and enthusiastic college students who are passionate about working toward a career in the music industry. We're looking for highly motivated students to promote our artists in their campus communities as WEA & ADA College Marketing Reps.
WEA & ADA College Rep duties include: Distributing promotional tools on campus and at local lifestyle accounts, securing marketing opportunities via campus press/radio and other media outlets, garnering in-store-play at area retailers, organizing and running point for artist events, providing tour support for developing artists, checking compliance at retailers around album releases, managing online marketing activities and communicating consumer trends. Ideal candidates are plugged into campus life, area retail stores, and local hotspots, and can effectively cultivate and leverage relationships with key music tastemakers in their area.
College reps are valued members of the WMG organization and this is your opportunity to impact the careers of our artists and help shape future music trends. In addition to financial compensation (minimum wage expenses), students get to hear new music first and will gain direct music marketing experience. This is not an internship (though you may receive internship credit), but rather an ongoing job, and candidates must commit to 18 hours a week for at least 2 semesters.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a currently enrolled student with at least 2 semesters remaining.
- Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Must have access to a car, camera, and computer.
- Must have a passion for music.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
