Primary Role
Working with our in-house development team this position will be required to assemble projects from engineering drawings on tight timelines. Needs to be able to handle the planning and execution of assembly work involving electro and mechanical elements while keeping a high standard of quality.
Duties and Responsibilities
Mechanical assembly of product or components.
Electro-mechanical assembly.
Routine assembly testing.
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical assemblies.
Cable and wire harness assembly.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Assemble product based on information translated from job orders, work instructions, procedures and wiring diagrams.
Determine the most efficient work sequences of the assembly process
Keep track of supplies and manage build materials from prototype to completion.
Maintain quality standards in all aspects of work.
Work within set timelines for most projects.
Carry out all duties in a proficient, orderly and safe manner while maintaining a positive attitude and solid attendance record.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualificiations
Education: high school education, or equivalent.
Excellent manual dexterity and vision.
Ability to perform repetitive, detailed work.
Able to frequently lift 25-40 pound totes, standing and walking.
Ability to read and understand documentation (in English) to assemble products, including workmanship standards.
Basic computer and math skills.
