Trailer Park’s Strategy & Insights department services Trailer Park as a Strategic resource, on existing and new business. Producing consumer and cultural insights, integrated into Strategic processes and deliverables, Trailer Park’s Strategy team sets the tone and insight that drives our world-class creative. The department’s mission is to lead Trailer Park into the future of Entertainment marketing, evangelizing our offering as the industry’s go-to strategic partner with taking premium content to market.
The Digital Strategist will mine, develop and socialize digital marketing best practices to internal divisions at Trailer Park through a series of ongoing forums: newsletters, immersions, presentations and more. You will also support the day to day strategic needs of Entertainment clients at Trailer Park. We are looking for someone who is fascinated by the future of entertainment, and has deep knowledge in the state of the media industry. You will be someone who recognizes the convergence of digital and traditional media, and has a passion for solution-oriented Strategy for the pain points/opportunities on both sides of the spectrum: from networks going OTT to social media diving into original content.
Responsibilities
• Ideate and execute a series of inspiration insights products or Trailer Park’s Entertainment clients, including but not limited to newsletters, webinars, and insights based thought pieces
• Access syndicated consumer research and Trailer Park IP to produce strategy for Trailer Park’s Entertainment clients
• Translate all-agency creative briefs into tactical and actionable creative strategy for Trail Park’s a/v trailer producers
• Develop POVs and best practices for entertainment marketing across digital/social
• Build lines of communication with Partnership teams within the social media community to keep Trailer Park abreast of emerging platform products and features
• Support brief development for Entertainment clients
• Provide Strategic positioning for Trailer Park’s awards submissions
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years working on Strategy at an advertising agency or within a new media organization
• Must have experience working with Entertainment clients
• Experience working with youth facing clients a plus
• Ideally holds a degree in Marketing, Psychology, or Communications
• Experience producing creative briefs, go to market strategies, communications and content strategies. Also confident in breaking form and innovating how Strategic information is shared.
• Experience accessing/producing primary and secondary research to surface insights
• Experience producing traditional Strategic Planning output that will empower the organizations new business pitching
• A natural fascination with consumer behavior and cultural trends
