SUMMARY OF POSITION
The CW Network, LLC seeks a Promotion/Traffic Coordinator for the CW Plus! Finance & Administration department. Creation and distribution of the daily broadcast logs for the CWPLUS.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop promo schedules that strategically promote the network and programming.
Communicate with Manager of Traffic and Marketing regarding promo strategy.
Coordinate with Manager of Traffic and Marketing to identify network promo priorities.
Schedule all promos and secondary events onto the broadcast logs for the Eastern and Central time zones.
Add all promo materials into the traffic system and secondary events into the graphics system.
Ensure that promotions and production meet all proscribed deadlines in order to adhere to affiliate, CW Network, and CWPLUS traffic requirements.
Research and resolve all promo discreps with Production, Tech Ops, MCO's and Manager of Traffic
Monitor network's on-air look.
Other duties as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma required. College preferred.
Must have strong PC skills, including knowledge of windows-based traffic systems. Knowledge of OSI Traffic system a plus.
Must have knowledge of time, i.e. hours, minutes, & seconds.
Must have knowledge of film/video timing increments (frames) preferred.
Must have strong math, communication, & proofreading skills.
Must be willing and able to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities.
Must be able to work efficiently under time constraints in a fast paced environment under minimal supervision.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if & when necessary.
2 to 3 years entertainment industry traffic and/or promotions/marketing experience preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively & tactfully with all levels of personnel (in person, telephone, written).
Must be able to organize & schedule work effectively.
Must be able to work efficiently under time constraints in a fast paced environment under minimal supervision.
Must be multi-task oriented.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if & when necessary.
