Full Time Job
This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of Global HR Operations. It has management accountability for a team of salaried non-exempt and/or office and technical employees that support the HR operation needs of employees across the enterprise. This role will focus on the ongoing client needs and will interface with clients as needed for escalated issues. It will closely interact with leadership to implement operational strategies that support the ongoing evolution of the Global HR Operations Organization, as well as lead projects across regions. Utilizing a variety of sources, data and metrics, it will identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiencies for increased productivity and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
On Site Management
• Manage the day-to-day Anaheim Operations & Onboarding teams to provide exceptional service in client interaction and fulfill HR-related transactions
• Monitor all work and project activities of the team to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
• Manage client requests and projects, balancing daily workloads of the team
• Align employee activities and management decisions to the GHRO guiding principles
• Learn and utilize knowledge about client, segment, market and technology to assist Global HR Ops employees with delivering quality experience and determining troubleshooting options as needed
• Develop, motivate and retain qualified employees
• Partner with other Global HR Operations Leadership Team members to coordinate the training and development of team members
Global HR Operations Team Building
• Identify opportunities to build a community among all Global HR Operations employees
• Lead Global HR Operations team members through change associated with new technology, new processes, new team members and a growing, global clientele
• Manage from an enterprise and global perspective
Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities to drive the business forward by identifying and leading changes to the business considering client needs, customer experience, costs/ROI, and technology
• Monitor work received through non-preferred channels; identify operational strategies and implement plans for elimination
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum four years of management experience or HR functional expertise
• Previous work experience in an Operations environment
• Previous Disney experience
• Experience managing teams through change
• Political adeptness at building professional relationships and influencing stakeholders
• Demonstrated professionalism when engaging with leaders, team members, and clients
• Demonstrated negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Proven effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop both written and verbal executive summaries
• Demonstrated coaching skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment
• Ability to manage team and employees
• Ability to identify when executive escalation is necessary
• Ability to identify and tee up potential opportunities for process improvements and adjust and execute accordingly
• Ability to analyze productivity and assess performance to hold employees accountable
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
• Demonstrated project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated proficiency in SAP

Required Education
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience
