Media business entrepreneur and producer Gail Berman founded the company and serves as the company's Chairman and CEO. The Jackal Group produced The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the two-hour event starring Laverne Cox, which aired on FOX in October 2016. The Jackal Group has a number of television projects in development, including comedy Ridin' Dirty, written by Allyn Rachel, at FX; Horrorstör, based on Grady Hendrix's novel and written by Josh Schwarz and Mike Vukadinovich; and the sweeping drama The Immortalists, an adaptation of award-winning author Chloe Benjamin's forthcoming novel, among others.
