SAG-AFTRA model and talent agency is seeking a talent agent to add to the team.

This position is not for someone looking to clock out at 5P.M. This is a job where hours change. Some days will be shorter and some will go into evening. We are seeking a passionate entertainment industry professional who thrives off success in their work, who is highly self-motivated and who can work in a team environment.

We are looking for someone who networks well and who can build business relationships with talent and clients, and who understands how to build new business and expand business with current client roster.

Job Entails:
-Marketing
-Submitting talent direct to casting directors, production companies, advertising agencies and on Casting Frontier and Breakdown Services for commercial, print and television jobs.
-Calling talent for auditions and callback appointments
-Booking talent
-Renegotiating contracts
-Basic invoicing
-Meeting, interviewing and signing new talent

Job Requirements:
-MUST have marketing or sales background! Ability to market agency and talent to new business partners and land new accounts is crucial in this position.
-Prior experience as an agent, talent manager, or talent coordinator is PREFERRED
-Excellent computer/social media abilities
-Understanding and passion for branding both talent and agency
-Knowledge of contracts, mother agency agreements and understanding of development/placement of talent
-Knowledge of industry websites
-Modeling or acting background is useful in scouting potential talent
-Excellent organization in a fast paced environment
-Great communication and multi-tasking are a must!
-High level of self-motivation!!
-Assertive, yet friendly business attitude (Assist and maintain clients)
-Excellent writing and communication
