Storyverse has created software that gives everyone a perfect partner for social media campaigning. We call it ''Storyblaster'' and it's arriving in January 2018. Our first vertical is crowdfunding and our data-driven model will revolutionize how people raise money through social media campaigns. We're looking for a Technical Project Manager-passionate about product, content, and, above all, users-to help bring the first version to market in January 2018.
Our TPM's primary role is to ensure a smooth development process, facilitating excellent communications between technology, content, and executive teams. A proactive role, our TPM will anticipate, mitigate and track issues across the product calendar (operational, technical, content, and user acceptance), and will assist the team to prioritize, track, and resolve them.
The TPM will schedule, plan, and run team meetings such as sprint reviews and any other necessary ad-hoc discussions. They will be able to describe content issues and requirements to technologists, and technical issues to content creators, and interpret emerging business or user requirements for the whole team.
The ideal candidate will have experience and skills in the following areas:
-Fostering product delivery, specifically in the realms of software and/or consumer- facing web applications
-Experience tracking multiple projects and teams
-Creating systems and timelines, guiding team deliverables, and related management experience
-Excellent organizational skills and eye for detail
-Friendly, positive demeanor and ability to communicate with an extremely diverse staff
This role would best be filled by someone with a technical background in software and/or web development, who also grasps the front-facing challenges of the business: customer service, marketing, etc. Interest and knowledge surrounding social media and content creation will be helpful as well. A former production manager in entertainment with some technical expertise could be a good fit.
We offer many perks including a casual, friendly office with plenty of snacks and swim breaks. We encourage diversity and collaboration, and we pride ourselves on our amazing working atmosphere - we are definitely not ''corporate.'' Storyverse Studios is an equal opportunity employer.
