Executive Assistant To TV / New Media Producer
Looking for an experienced, well-spoken, personable, forward thinking, and highly organized individual to assist in the running of the Executive Producer's office of an entertainment/new media company based in Hollywood, CA.
Position is ideal for an assistant with a highly organized mind and experience in various aspects of PRODUCTION COORDINATION and administrative duties including: TEAM SCHEDULING, budgets, travel, admin, research, project management, and more.
Must be calm, easy going and efficient, with a good sense of humor, honest, hard-working, and possess a can-do spirit. Ability to wear many hats; a bonus if you have worked as a coordinator, a producer, on a busy agency desk, or in series production.
Candidates should be five steps ahead of the task at hand, while calmly managing the minute-to-minute. S/he should be able to work independently, as well as take direction from the boss and our creative team assisting with a variety of tasks.
Job Responsibilities:

The tasks will vary daily and will include:
• Creating and managing daily and weekly schedules for the CEO and team.
• Arranging meetings and coordinating tasks for others.
• Managing timelines and tasks with deadlines.
• Overall assisting to keep things running smoothly and efficiently as the company expands and increases staff - from a small start up to a multi-million dollar production and software company.
• Manage your time and projects effectively.
• Track Spending.
• Be a pleasure to have around. We want a leader, someone upbeat, creative, easy going, honest, kind, respectful, confident but not cocky, and accountable, who will derive pleasure and value from doing something completely original.
• Office organization, including filing, creating Excel budgets, timelines, schedules, reports, keeping track of writers, assignments, and contracts for talent.
REQUIREMENTS:
1-2 years of production for web or TV, coordinating shoots and/or high end, pressured projects.
• Exceptional telephone/email manner and an ability to build rapport with new contacts.
• Articulate, with a calm manner, and excellent communication skills.
• Excellent editing and writing skills.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office, Excel, database software, and CMS software.
• Sales, marketing, e-commerce, and/or PR experience a definite plus.
• Experience and background with the visual arts, entertainment, tech, social media, advertising, marketing, and PR all are definitely welcome!
• Knowledge of various social media platforms, a must.
Please note that we work out of an office in Studio City as well as out of a home office in Hollywood. We have two dogs, so the ideal candidate is comfortable being around dogs.
This is a full time, consulting position beginning immediately. Candidates should send a resume, cover letter, and references.
Salary: $650.00 to 700.00 per week to begin -- based on experience-- with room to grow.
