Administrative Assistant - Sony Pictures Television
The primary purpose is to provide daily administrative support to the position's supervisor and the department. Daily duties include answering phones, general typing, making appointments, creating and processing expense reports and making travel/entertainment arrangements.
• Preparing memoranda and other materials for staff and business meetings
• Setting up and maintaining files and records which may contain confidential information
• Screening telephone calls, incoming mail, publications, and other correspondence
• Utilizing word processing equipment and/or PC in the performance of assigned duties
• Collecting information needed by executive for conferences, reports and projects
• Preparing or assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled or special reports
• Performing other related duties as assigned by management
• Making travel arrangements as required
• Creating and processing expense reports
• Coordinating arrangements for executive meetings
Skill In:
• Excellent computer skills; specifically Word, Excel and working knowledge of PowerPoint
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be able to proactively troubleshoot
• Must be detail oriented and organized to perform efficiently
Ability To:
• Identify work priorities and requirements up-front and make timely decisions
• Demonstrate the ability to work with all levels of management.
• Demonstrate initiative, professionalism and confidentiality
BA preferred
1 - 2 years experience required
