Full Time Job
Main responsibilities include:
• Coordinate talent travel and press events for SPC's upcoming films.
• Oversee and organize the booking of flights, hotels, cars, greeters and grooming.
• Interact with publicists to coordinate press days and handle all relevant bookings, including reserving hotel space.
• Work closely with the Director of National Adverting & Publicity to put together festival and regional press tours.
• Create itineraries and double check press schedules while communicating this information with publicists to ensure things run smoothly.
• Work with the legal department to review contracts for press days and theatre premiere screenings.
• Facilitate and process the department invoices in a timely manner as well as setting up new vendors.
• Must be available by phone/e-mail on evenings and weekends for potential work inquiries.
• Must be detail oriented as well as able to handle multiple tasks at a given time.
• Assist at special screenings, film premieres and press junket days.
• Cover phone duties for the co-presidents while their assistant is at lunch or out of the office.
• Must make oneself available should a problem arise while talent is traveling or during their stay.
• Must be responsible, have a polite and respectful demeanor and able to work calmly under pressure.
Qualifications:
• 1 - 2 years related experience, especially in terms of dealing with travel arrangements
• Demonstrated interest in film
• BA Preferred
