Responsibilities
• This role will handle relationships with key subscription services and will direct RED MUSIC overall business at the partner level
• Manage accounts through relationship cultivation in an effort to grow each account’s business, maximize revenue and exposure for artists.
• Develop market expertise through continuous focus on and knowledge of the competitive and market environment
• Interpret data to form actionable intelligence that helps shape and sustain campaigns
• Create compelling pitches for artists to excite and engage partners
• Drive new business initiatives, concepts and products for the RED MUSIC brand
• Propose and execute marketing and platform campaigns with timely featured positioning for RED MUSIC’s artists, new & catalog releases, and other strategic initiatives
• Must have a background in building fan focused plans tied to subscription platforms
• Focus on promotion set up to drive fans to streaming partners
• Cultivate strong relationship across multiple accounts, including content/editorial, product marketing, sponsorship, executive levels, and related 3rd party service providers
• Work closely with research and analytics teams on market trends, gain insights, identifying opportunities, and understanding consumer behavior on streaming platforms
• Travel with artists to partner showcases, sessions and industry activities
• Lead frequent partner calls and business presentations with the accounts
• Regularly communicate the status of artist campaigns, new initiatives, and other account activity to the labels and other teams
• Ability to solve operations, reporting, technology, and business issues to ensure efficiency
Qualifications
• 3 years experience in music industry. Digital experience highly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of current digital music distribution partners and industry best practices.
• Must be able to accept changes readily, both in job responsibilities, as well as in the work environment, and have the ability to be flexible in adapting to re-prioritized tasks.
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
• Data analysis/research skills.
• Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to speak in forums, meetings and presentations.
• Creative, self-starter with exceptional follow-up skills.
