Full Time Paid Internship
Timeframe: 2017-2018 NBA Season; 25 hours a week, office hours, nights and weekends will be necessary based on 43 home game schedule
Wage: $10.50/hour
Summary:
The Sacramento Kings are looking to add motivated and talented Membership Development & Sales Campaigns Intern to our ever-expanding roster of rock star team members during the Season. We are seeking candidates that can make an instant and long lasting impact on our company, our community and our fans with their positive attitude, relentless efforts and ability to produce results consistently at a high level.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Ticket Sales and Services department; Assisting in the coordination, organization, implementation and follow-up activities of the Membership Development & Sales Campaigns team as well as the Ticket Sales team.

As a Membership Development & Sales Campaigns Intern, you’ll be a trusted member of our team who will help ensure membership development, ticket sales action plans and our Fan Experiences are accomplished efficiently and on-time, while ensuring each guest has a WOW experience while they are in our building.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRA’s):
• Assists the coordinating team on game days with Fan Experiences, Events, general office duties, promotional pack redemption, and membership fulfillment as well as in seat deliveries.
• Assist with other ticket sales activities and events including offsite events, receptions, and setting up sales tables at events around the community.
• Extensive lead acquisition.
• Data entry and maintenance for large projects.
• Order processing.
• Research trends around the NBA and other professional sports leagues.
• Account building in Archtics & Salesforce (will train).
• Performs necessary logistical duties needed to execute promotions and campaigns, e.g. assembling prize packs, gift redemption, collecting entry cards.
• Responsibilities may also include assisting with database marketing/management activities.
• Organize and manage large group activities.
• Performs all other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Experience catering to the customer and exceeding expectations.
• An in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a friendly, professional, personable, and outgoing individual.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude; committed to teamwork.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Creative, solution based thinker.
• Archtics and/or Salesforce experience preferred.
• Candidates must be available to work ALL Kings home games which includes nights and weekends to be considered.
