SPG Studios offers two services: 1) English and foreign-language dubbing services for TV, film, video game, and advertising projects, and 2) audio post-production facilities and services for TV and film. Job Duties:
SPG's Engineering Department has an internship position available where you will learn audio engineering for localization and audio post-production services. We are seeking sharp individuals who can work well in a team as well as independently. This is an unpaid internship. Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with Backups, Digitizing Video and Audio
* Setting up ADR sessions, QCs
* Researching product and support information as needed
* Maintaining studio cleanliness and functionality
* Assisting the Engineering team
* Facilities-related maintenance
Requirements:
* A college degree or certificate from a Sound Engineering program or school, or currently working towards one
* Knowledge of Pro Tools software
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
* Very positive attitude and desire to provide excellent support
* Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
* Willingness & ambition to learn and take on more responsibilities
* Outstanding time management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Exceptional organization skills
* Able to accept constructive criticism positively & make necessary changes
* Detail-oriented and accurate
* High energy required. Must be able to thrive in fast-paced, creative environment with ability to multi-task
* Must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week for 3 months
* Having your own vehicle and driver's license is a plus
* Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
