Software Implementation Consultant or I.T. Business Analyst required for Client-Facing software role in the film/TV industry - Max $80k - Los Angeles, California, US
THE COMPANY AND SITUATION OVERVIEW:
The world leader in software systems to the music and entertainment industry requires an I.T. Business Analyst OR someone experienced in overseeing enterprise-scale software implementations to undertake a client-facing role relating to their software products aimed at the film and TV industry.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The experience required for this role is as follows:
• At least 3 years real-world experience EITHER in overseeing large enterprise-scale software implementations OR as an I.T. Business Analyst
• Proven knowledge of software QA and implementation methodologies
• Client-facing experience: Previous experience of working for a service provider liaising with EXTERNAL clients
• Flexibility as regards travel: This is a mobile role with up to 25% travel, including internationally.
The above criteria are essential: You require all of the above to be eligible for this role.
PLEASE NOTE: The implementation experience we require is of large-scale enterprise software implementations such as ERP software. Experience such as upgrading Windows, or MSOffice, or implementing Sage accounts or small web apps is NOT suitable here!
THE JOB:
The role is a mixture of application support, business analysis, implementation and training.
This is a VERY client-facing role and you will be the first point of contact for 80% of the company's clients. You will essentially be the face of the company, so we need someone who will LISTEN, hear what the client is telling you and document it accurately. This is an entry-level position so at this stage you don't need to understand or solve incoming support issues, just to listen, sympathise and record. This is absolutely critical to the role.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Here, your career progression is determined solely by your own performance in the role. In this position, the intention is for you to learn the business, the software and the customers. Once that is achieved, you can then move up to the next level where you will hold responsibility for an application and answering support queries, being the expert on that product and being a team member on implementation projects. We had a previous new starter at the company achieve this in less than 2 months.
Due to the current growth in the company, if you're a ''go-getter'', the company will give you as much responsibility as you desire, as early on as you can handle! The opportunities here will come to the go-getter.
Location: Los Angeles, California, US
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus bonus and good benefits package
