GENERAL/OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Write and produce short form content to support the Nickelodeon Global Programming Calendar and Multi-Platform needs
• Oversee creation of all digi-shorts and social asset requests
• Lead brainstorms, attend meetings and drive creative projects with other LOBs and regional creative teams to create and/or reversion
existing content that can work across multiple platforms
• Draft and fulfill creative briefs
• Hire/oversee outside vendors
• Assist with reversioning existing on-air promos and video content as needed for global use
• Work closely with graphic designers for all GFX needs and collaborate on creative approach
• Attend shoots as necessary and be willing to field produce, take script notes, and assist in any way needed
• Deliver all paperwork associated with completed projects (scripts, music cue sheets, etc)
• Ensure all projects are properly archived and deliverables are QC'd
• Work within budget and calendar timelines as administered by the Supervising Producer.
• Create relationships with international and domestic production houses and edit facilities to build contacts and expand creative contact
base
• Shooting and editing experience is a plus
REQUIREMENTS - SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Minimum 2-3 years related experience as a Producer/Project Manager within a large TV or Production company
Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and have strong written, organizational and communication skills.
Current in digital/social trends and new technology
Strong creative abilities, production sense and aesthetic judgment with excellent ability to provide and receive creative direction
Experience with international short form a plus
Computer knowledge in production applications including Avid, Final Cut, and Adobe Creative Suite
