Post Production Assistant, The Jerry Springer Show
Responsibilities
The Jerry Springer Show is looking for technical and creative post production assistant. Ideal candidate has a desire to work in the post production world with an emphasis on media management, editing, and coordinating.
Responsibilities:
•Work with our Post Team to: manage space on our edit server
•Work alongside our Post Producers and Office Manager to ensure clients have all they need while in house.
•Supports Post Production Supervisor in maintaining schedules for retake sessions, as well as spotting and review sessions with composer and sound designers; pre- and final mixes; color correction; quality control and final delivery.
•Help Post Production Supervisor with marketing requests to ensure that all footage requests that pertain to their projects are fulfilled
•Assist with ad hoc projects
•Compile all music cue sheets on a monthly basis for the shows
•Make labels (XD Cam Face, Outer, & DVD's)
•Organize/Update/Create/Track Google doc Show Tracker
•Screen all shows prior to lay-off for delivery to ensure that shows are suitable for distribution
•Keep show folders updated with legal notes, Post Supervisor notes, EP notes, chyrons, etc.
•Communicate with the show's delivery management, editors, producers
Qualifications/Requirements
•BA/BS preferred, or minimum 1-2 years of Post-Production experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
•Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
•Must be 18 years or older.
•Must have ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
Desired Characteristics
•Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
•Knowledge of FileMaker Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator a plus but not essential
•Superb written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong time management skills; excellent multi-tasker and able to work well in a high-pressure environment.
