Responsibilities Role Summary
NBCUniversal is looking for early career candidates who are interested in building a career in Talent Development, within the media and entertainment business. We are a team of fun, creative and unique professionals with a vision to build the most strategic, well-informed, and engaged workforce in media.
The Talent Development Coordinator will act as an ambassador of the Talent Lab, NBCUniversal's corporate university, and help ensure the event space and office runs smoothly and guests and employees receive a first-class experience. This individual will perform a broad range of administrative, coordination and support activities across NBCUniversal's Talent Management organization with a focus on event execution and space operations. This individual will also work on special projects related to employee engagement, culture, and developmental experiences, and be part of a broad group of professionals, working in a creative and collaborative environment.
This role is based in Universal City and reports to the Manager of Talent Development.
Responsibilities
• Support Talent Development team in delivering successful learning experiences including; logistics, attendee lists, venue details, assessments, creating printed collateral, evaluations, course nominations and project management for Talent Lab experiences and training classes
• Serve as main point of contact and provide hands on management of NBCUniversal's Talent Lab at 10 UCP office space and meeting rooms
• Field and respond to internal event requests for our Talent Lab space
• Communicate and partner with Human Resources, Event Planning, Finance, Catering, Facilities, AV and/or other NBCUniversal teams and external vendors to support the operations and management of Talent Lab experiences and space
• Organize, order, and keep inventory of program supplies, including technology tools used in learning experiences (iPad set up, storage closet, materials, etc.)
• Plan logistics for meetings, events and roundtables including room reservations, technology set-up, and catering
• Work on special projects or assignments as needed Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 1 year of talent management, learning and development, human resources and/or talent acquisition experience
• Event or office management experience a plus
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, including basic/intermediate Excel skills and advanced PowerPoint skills (ability to create new decks and edit existing materials)

• Knowledge of Apple and/or Tablet technology, video downloading, as well as a demonstrated ability to learn new technology
