Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (''MGM'') is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager for the company's marketing and digital departments. This position is responsible for helping in the organization and execution of television and catalog campaigns across multiple digital channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, and YouTube for the MGM Marketing department. This individual is experienced in all things digital marketing, especially related to social media content, development, analytics, communication, channel optimization, and experience with digital monetization. This position requires the ability to work with several divisions throughout MGM, including partners, agencies, and vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Report to both the EVP of Worldwide Marketing & Distribution, as well as the EVP of Domestic Pay TV & Worldwide New Media
• Collaborate with Sales to create and execute all monetization efforts
• Work with sales to discover and launch new YT channels/revenue streams according to MGM IP, YT user demand, etc.
• Help develop programming strategies and release calendars for YT channels according to key drafting opportunities
• Liaise with Sales/YT about opportunities to increase exposure of MGM YT channels through social platforms
• Manage MGM official social channels (catalog and television)as well as two syndicated television shows' social pages working with agencies, broadcast networks, studios and SVOD platforms to develop content and perform community management
• Manage the creation and implementation of digital marketing strategies and tactics to penetrate different consumer segments and tailor content geared toward target audiences
• Manage MGM catalog and television social calendars and monitor social accounts daily
• Conceptualize and drive social marketing campaigns that increase engagement, spur conversation, and grow our audiences
• Ensure all social media communications are on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice
• Align with marketing, publicity, retail, brand, and other departments to assure all social needs are met
• Develop and/or enhance existing partnerships on behalf of the marketing team with all of the leading platforms in this space (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, Snapchat, etc.)
• Stay on top of trends and latest technologies to execute and recognize MGM branding and drafting opportunities
• Identify real time social media content opportunities and executions
• Project manager of website by working with internal and external resources simultaneously
SKILLS:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or public relations
• Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience
• Experience in social media at an entertainment company, media, and/or digital agency
• Strong command of social platforms, content management systems, and reporting tools
• Experience in web development
• A passion for internet culture, viral videos, YouTube, and online content
• Self-starter with an aptitude for promoting and amplifying brands and products online
• Project management skills
• Must be able to manage relationships across multiple business units, departments, and external vendors
• Strong people skills
• Experience growing and maintaining social communities
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with creating fan-engaging messaging and conversations for different target demographics
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
• Adept at problem solving and execution of ideas
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and can juggle multiple projects at once
