Full Time Job
The Associate Manager, Global Television Marketing will work with the Senior Marketing executives on campaign strategy, planning and execution for specifically assigned Marvel Live Action and Animated television series.
Responsibilities
Marketing Planning & Strategy
• Work with Senior Marketing executives on strategy and key messaging for Live Action and Animation series.
• Update and maintain Live Action and Animation series integrated Marketing planning calendars, sharing regularly with key executives.
• Aggregate performance metrics for series engagement and viewership analysis.
• Research Marvel and non-Marvel television series social pages and brainstorm strategy for sustain and episodic support.
Communications
• Build strong relationships with partners across all LOB's, both within and outside of Marvel.
• Liaise with internal LOB's and external partners, to ensure that all Marketing campaigns, messaging and creative are inspired, on-target, and uphold Marvel brand & franchise standard.
• Manage agendas and outreach to teams for Key Marketing meetings, including weekly TV Marketing meeting and any show-specific Marketing-focused meetings.
• Prepare communication reports/recaps from all Marketing meetings and distribute following meetings, including actionable next steps.
Partnerships/Synergy
• Support Partnerships team in development of Marvel Television partnership and sponsorship programs.
• Facilitate synergy opportunities across The Walt Disney Company in support of Marvel Television series.
Creative Reviews & Approvals
• Route marketing creative for Live Action and Animation series, including but not limited to print ads, TV spots, key art, logos, graphics, licensing packs, emails, video, publishing, and games.
• Facilitate creative review for various cross LOB programs including Consumer Products licensing programs, Partnerships programs, Home Entertainment campaign launches, and series soundtracks and scores.
• Aggregate all marketing creative comments for review and distribution to appropriate internal and external partners.
Asset Development, Requests & Delivery
• Support creation and production of marketing assets, including logos, sizzle reels, key art, digital videos, and social shareables, by working closely with Senior Marketing executives to prepare briefs and provide necessary assets.
• Support creation of physical promotional materials, brainstorm design concepts, and manage printing/shipping.
• Create custom weekly print ads for live-action and animation properties appearing in Marvel Publishing titles.
• Draft CRM email blasts for episodic promotion of shows.
• Act as point for all Marvel Television asset, sizzle, music and episode requests from all internal/external Social, Marketing, Consumer Products/Licensee, Publishing, Promotions, Games, Special Events, Synergy, and Digital groups.
• Update timelines and calendars for marketing materials.
• Submit PO's and ensure that invoices are received and processed in a timely manner for payment.
Special Events
• Support lead Marvel Event person for event planning and logistics including hotel accommodations, travel reservations and service, catering and meals, billing, premiums, content creation, and network/platform partners liaising.
• Partner with key project leads and execs for planning, presentations and staffing at Marvel events/Comic Cons with Television presence.
• Source and oversee execution, approvals & delivery of Marvel TV collateral and premiums for events.
Basic Qualifications
• Excellent project management and organizational skills; must have ability to manage multiple priorities and shift gears at a moment's notice
• Demonstrated ability to partner with leaders and peers on an ongoing basis to represent Marketing in business decisions
• Exceptional collaboration skills for internal partnerships and external relationship building
• Experience working with multiple vendors and business partners
• Strong creative instincts and ability to distill stakeholder comments into actionable creative feedback that delivers on goals
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, confident, energetic and not afraid to take risks
• Highly responsive and able to follow-up on projects and communication in a timely manner
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Possesses strong presentation skills, both oral and written
• Proficient in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as workload and projects require
• Minimum 2 years marketing experience; TV network, film studio, or agency experience a plus
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related area of study
