Search for Executive Assistant to SVP of Talent + Development jobs in New York-NY
Responsibilities:
- Provides support for the SVP of Talent and Casting (heavily involved in development)
- Manage heavy day-to-day calendar of SVP, including phone, travel, and weekly schedule
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate weekly, daily, and monthly meetings as needed
- Coordinate, manage, and oversee talent logistics
- Prepare documents/presentations as needed for meetings
- Develop and maintain talent + show databases, contact sheets and filing systems
- Submit expense reports and purchasing requests for supplies as needed
- Work closely with talent team to ensure flow of department
- Ability to work well with executives, staff members, talent, and guests
Basic Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an assistant or on an assistant desk (preferably in casting, talent, or talent development)
- Knowledge of Outlook calendars, emails, and contact database
- Basic knowledge or previous experience using expense systems (Concur, etc)
- Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint systems
- Ability to work as a team player within the department and assist as necessary
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Demonstrated proactive problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (telephone and email etiquette with executives of all levels)
- Must be personable, highly organized, computer + tech savvy, and willing to dive into any situation big or small
