The Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative support to the Marketing, Communications & Broadcasting department.
Job Functions:
• Provide primary support for SVP and Directors within the department
• Answer telephones, record messages and direct inquiries through the proper channels
• Help organize and respond to fan letters and other departmental correspondence and organizational tasks
• Assist department in various Dodger-related promotions, including signature events and pregame support
• Provide assistance with processing invoices
• Process expense reports for Department Head
• Service the department in various administrative duties including filing, copying, mailing, procurement and invoice processing
• Peform related duties as assigned
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED or its equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum three years' work experience as an Administrative Assistant or Coordinator preferred
• Working knowledge of baseball, MLB, its teams and players
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Possess excellent reasoning, problem-solving, creative thinking, and communication skills
• Proficient with various software programs, including Microsoft Office and Concur
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Bilingual skill set a plus
