Locomotive is seeking part-time interns to work in our NYC office 1-3 days per week to assist with our projects in development, pre-production and post-production. We are looking for motivated candidates who are eager to learn more about the film and television industries.
Responsibilities:
• Provide general office support, i.e. answering phones, filing, mail distribution, etc.
• Weekly research projects
• Reading scripts and writing coverage
• Providing notes on existing projects
• Running errands as needed
Requirements:
• Must be located in New York City
• Currently pursuing / recently completed degree in film, or similar field
• Previous internship experience in entertainment industry a plus
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office, Outlook, and various social media platforms. Final Draft and Adobe Suite a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability follow-through on projects and manage time effectively
