The Role:
Reporting to the VP of HR Shared Services, the Benefits Manager will oversee Live Nation's North American benefits programs across all business units. This position will partner with the Human Resource senior leadership team to implement and design company-wide benefit and employee programs. The role will require a well-rounded Benefits professional who has experience in designing cutting edge benefit programs with a strong background branding and communicating benefits across a diverse employee population. Must have a strong understanding of Benefits operations and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
•Ownership of benefit program administration, including partnering with internal/external business partners.
•Recommends employee benefit programs by examining, evaluating, and optimizing employee understanding. Must take into consideration acceptance and interests, costs, regulatory requirements, and competitive advantage.
•Works on benefit needs, design, employee demographics and employee census. Assist with benchmarking and trend analysis.
•Resolution of escalated benefit questions and issues, such as health & welfare, wellness, 401(k), and company programs.
•Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws, including ACA reporting requirements, updating summary plan documents (SPDs), annual plan notice distribution, non-discrimination testing, periodic audits of benefits plans & deductions to ensure plans remain compliant, and ensure reporting requirements are met timely
•Responsible for the full project management of benefits programs, include preparing the communications and promotional materials, contents for educational sessions, and use of other communication vehicles.
•Manage the Benefit vendors and reconciliation of the invoices.
•Fully manage the annual open enrollment process, including plan implementation/changes and the development of communication materials; partner with benefits consultant/broker, TPA, carriers and internal business partners, as needed.
•Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
•Manager the 401(k) annual audit, non-discrimination testing and 5500 filing.
•Work with broker, carriers, TPAs and internal accounting department to consolidate and reconcile benefits invoices.
•Manage wellness events and researches new/innovative practices and trends in employee benefits and wellness.
•Assist with payroll/benefit-related reconciliations.
•Maintain employee confidence and integrity keeping sensitive information confidential.
Qualifications:
•A Bachelor's degree and 5 years benefits management experience at a large organization with diverse employee populations.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
•Exceptional integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
•Must be detail-oriented.
•Experience implementing Open Enrollment across various employee types and demographics.
•Experience implementing projects, and ability to thrive in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment.
•Ability to work in a rapidly evolving, fast paced culture and meet time-critical deadlines.
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word, and Access.
•Ability to maintain professional and approachable demeanor to effectively handle sensitive employee inquiries and maintain great employee rapport.
•Demonstrates flexibility, organization and self-motivation.
•Workday HCM knowledge preferred.
