The Format Licensing team within 20th Century Fox TV Distribution manages the day to day Format licensing opportunities worldwide for all 20th Century Fox Scripted and Unscripted Formats. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to: reading scripts, creating sales materials, reviewing US and local series, filing, researching Format press, and other department initiatives as needed.
Projects/Tasks:
• Assist with creation of Sales & Marketing materials for Formats
• Create and organize production elements for all US and Localized Formats
• Review localized scripts, photos, video elements, and other deliverables
• Read scripts and write coverage
• Source Format and local production press clippings for distribution to sales executives
• Research competition structure and send updates on any format competition news
• Administrative tasks as requested and needed.
Learning Objectives:
• Interns will gain exposure to Scripted and Unscripted Format businesses. Students will gain hands on experience working in international television business (marketing, sales, production, and distribution) with global broadcasters and international production companies.
Qualifications:
• Desire to learn about all aspects of Scripted and Unscripted Format landscape
• Passion for television and the latest Scripted and Unscripted shows
• Interest in the television distribution industry, Format trends, and international production
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• A team player, who is organized, has the ability to collaborate, prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to respectfully interface with executives from various departments and divisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a good communicator and attention to details
• Foreign languages are a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
