Full Time Unpaid Internship

The Fox Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity for you to gain practical experience while interning for one of the biggest media and entertainment companies in the world. You will have the opportunity to participate in real-world projects, which provides valuable work experience and leadership skills.
The Fox Internship Program provides mentoring and learning opportunities to help you develop your skills, network with Fox employees, and learn more about what it's like to work in the entertainment industry.
Interns will have a variety of roles in the FOX publicity department as we head into a very busy fall season. They will have the opportunity to assist on projects such as pulling media breaks, compiling media contact lists, tracking social media reaction, learn how to write loglines, press releases, and media e-alerts, and so much more! They can attend satellite media tours, affiliate press junkets, and assist at other major premiere events and tastemakers pending availability. They will also be involved in creative meetings, department brainstorms, and learn the fundamentals of television publicity and working in a professional (and fun!) office environment. Ultimately, they will have the opportunity to see the inner workings of a fast-paced network television publicity department as we head into our busiest season of the year. We are seeking responsible individuals who are eager to take every opportunity to learn outside of the general duties of a publicity intern and hope to become a true asset to the team.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in progress.
• Must be available at least 2 full days per week from 9AM-6PM beginning the week of Jan 3. Must be available to work a full day on Wednesday, January 4th for the Winter Television Critics Association (TCA) confernece.
• We are looking to hire immediately and your term would go through mid-April depending on how we structure your weekly schedule. This is a 200 hour maximum internship.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook, as well as, executive phone coverage preferred, but not required.
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
