Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment seeks an intern for the global Marketing & Publicity department. This internship is designed to expose students interested in pursuing careers in creative marketing and publicity to several facets of the business while giving them hands on experience assisting the team on film, TV & catalog release campaigns. - ?
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with individuals in Publicity, Creative Marketing & Promotions on specific strategic projects pertaining to releases.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, department events, screenings and other activities to gain exposure to all parts of publicity.
• Work with publicity to pitch college media.
• Work with publicity to manage and create PR materials.
• Monitor industry trends and media landscape.
• Assigned specific research projects to work on throughout the internship that they will present to the team at the end of their term.
• Performs administrative & other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Preferred students will be studying Marketing or Communications.
• PC knowledge preferred: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage.
• Knowledge of file set-up, maintenance and filing procedures.
• Knowledge of report, letter, etc. format.
• Proficient in internet research.
• Experience in an office setting or the entertainment industry preferred.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
• Must have the ability to organize.
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
To participate in Fox's Internship program, you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited
• university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
