Full Time Job
FOX Sports West is currently looking for an Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the SVP/General Manager, and serve as office manager in support of the objectives and daily activities of all departments.
Responsibilities
• Work closely on all aspects of the business through administrative support for the SVP/General Manager, including handling calendar, phones and expenses.
• Day to day management of the FOX Sports West and San Diego offices – including serving as a liaison for the building management, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and working with IT to keep all systems functional.
• Administer Spotlight system for tickets and parking passes for FOX Sports West and San Diego, including distribution, tracking and monthly reports for event ticket usage, and coordinating suite catering.
• Maintain and update files, assist with invoice processing.
• Ensure that employees have all tools and services necessary for their job and necessary training.
• Assist with internship program for both offices, helping onboard interns and new hires.
• Coordinate both internal events (e.g., staff meetings, morale events) as well as external events (e.g., client hospitality, community events) in conjunction with the marketing and ad sales department.
Qualifications:
• College degree preferred.
• Prior experience as an administrative assistant and experience assisting executives is preferred, but not necessary.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, strong ability to multi-task
• Must be detailed-oriented and highly organized.
• Desire to pursue a career in the sports or media industry preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and office machines a plus.
• Must be self-starter and highly motivated.
