Search for Wardrobe and Design Executive Assistant jobs in New York-NY
Currently seeking a dedicated, organized, detail-oriented executive assistant for an entertainment production company. Role will work directly with the design director, owner of the company, other senior managers and hundreds of performers organizing costumes, styling performers, and maintaining our wardrobe department in impeccable condition. Ideal candidate will primarily be an organizational queen/king but also have a design or wardrobe background or knowledge base. Must be comfortable in a fast paced environment, and of course be comfortable with both autonomous tasks and working as part of a team.
Job would begin as part-time employee with the option of moving to full-time within 3 months. Some travel required, if you are open to more there is ample opportunity for national and international travel.
Additional skills:
Must have an excellent knowledge of fabrics. Knowledge of costume history/trends and modern couture preferable. Design and fabrication skills a plus. Should be comfortable with spreadsheets, budgets and competent with typing and lifting 50lb. boxes. Looking for someone who LOVES to organize!
