Provide analytical support to the Research Manager to assist in the development of programming research strategies and audience estimates for TLC.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain Nielsen line-ups to include new programs or grid changes.
2. Utilize ratings data and market research statistics to track and analyze performance of Network programs on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, as well as performance of specials, stunts and ad hoc requests.
3. Produce recurring reports and trends.
4. Monitor the channel’s audience levels in comparison to past performance and the competition.
5. Assist in the design and analysis of primary research studies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree
* 1 year research analyst experience preferred.
* Experience in data analysis, with strong math and communication skills required.
* Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills
* Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, plus have the ability to learn new software quickly.
* Knowledge of Nielsen systems (Multitrak or Galaxy systems, PNF, Npower) and experience working with analytical databases.
* Ideal candidate will be a team player with the flexibility and creativity to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy and attention to detail.
* Primary research experience is a plus.
* Must have the legal right to work in the US
