Senior Web Developer

Deluxe Digital Distribution provides turnkey video management and distribution solutions for online retailers, device manufacturers, video operators, and other IP-based solutions providers.

The ideal candidate will have an established track-record implementing enterprise applications for a software company. Candidates must have experience with all aspects of software development including technical requirements analysis, software design, implementation, test, and documentation. Recent work history must include substantial time as a Senior Developer within a software company or an equivalent development organization. Candidates must have a proven record of success working within a team through the entire product lifecycle.

The Senior Web Developer will be part of a small group and must be able to work both independently and as part of the team.

Primary Responsibilities

- Quickly learn and build upon existing products and technologies
- Use analytic skills to deal with requirements and/or issues that may be loosely defined and the ability to further manipulate and expand on them.
- Design and implement new application functionality, including ground-up product development
- Work with technical lead to design and implement solutions
- Develop and implement testing strategies
- Create low-level implementation specifications and documentation
- Create estimates of development tasks

Required Experience

- 5 years experience doing enterprise software development using C# and ASP.NET
- 2 years experience doing web application development using ASP.NET MVC Framework
- Experience using the following web-based technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML
- Experience developing in thick-client technologies such as Silverlight, Flash, or Flex
- 3 years experience implementing OO solutions and a sound understanding of OO principles
- 2 Experience with client-side development tools such as jQuery or Prototype
- Experiencing integrating with back end services.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent

Desired Experience

- An understanding of Agile software development principals such as Scrum, Continuous Integration, and test-driven development
- Familiarity with DRM technology such as Widevine or PlayReady
- Experience in the media or entertainment industry
