*Role*
The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leveraging existing and developing new relationships that lead to increased business for a home entertainment digital media company in the areas of qa/qc and also digital services. We are involved with VR/AR/MR, Game, Digital Media, App testing, etc.
In this role, the Vice President of Sales will work closely with potential customers, existing customers and all internal teams to create new business opportunities that turn into company revenue. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience in a sales/business development role at a post-production services company.
*Responsibilities and Duties*
Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
Leverages existing content owner / rights holder and distributor relationships to evangelize for and seek out new business
Pro actively cultivates new relationships and opportunities to the same end
Drives business leads through to close (eg - signed contract or agreement to start work)
Maintains transparent communication with all internal teams, keeping key team members abreast of all customer feedback/comments/requests
Organizes and provides detailed hand-offs to production teams when opportunities are closed and have moved into production (eg - schedules new customer kick-off meetings with key personnel)
Facilitates new customer financial onboarding process (eg - getting a new customer setup for invoicing/payments)
Participates and contributes to responses that are requested by customers and potential customers (eg - RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.)
Maintains a strong understanding of changing post production economics with an eye toward proactively identifying potential new business opportunities
Utilizes and regularly updates business development tracking tools as required by business owners
Participates and regularly attends industry events when potential customers are in attendance
Participates and helps create market competitive and customer specific rate cards
Researches and understands fair market rates for all services and works to maximize the rates accepted by customers
Effectively analyzes and communicates information in order to resolve issues and concerns as they arise
Maintains a positive team relationship through both written and verbal communication with high quality and a positive attitude
Qualifications and Skills
*Requirements*
7+ years of experience working in a sales/business development role for a post-production services company; sales team leadership experience is preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Working knowledge of physical and digital workflows, tools, and concepts
Working knowledge of film/video/audio concepts, such as resolution, frame rate, NTSC, PAL, HD, file formats, file codecs, etc.
Excellent ability to interact in a clear and logical manner
Fosters open communication; thoroughly qualified at expressing ideas and instructions in team environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both external and internal
Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite of applications and various web applications (Google Drive, Trello, DaPulse, etc.)
Ability to prepare e-mails and professionally communicate both written and verbally

Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to clearly and transparently communicate internally and externally
Ability to work in a self-directed and fast-paced work environment
Requires keen attention to detail
Must be self-starter and be able to work with little to no supervision
Superb organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
