Management/Production company is looking to bring on a new Talent Manager. We're looking for an intelligent, hardworking Talent Coordinator/Jr. Manager or a seasoned Manager/Agent (discretion assured) looking to help grow an existing roster of working clients with a generous commission-split structure. Candidates with a current working roster will be given priority. We have developed solid relationships within the business and are looking for the same drive, ambition, and knowledge in potential candidates.
Experience as a Jr. Agent/Manager (Coordinators will be considered), or Agent/Manager is required, DO NOT APPLY OTHERWISE
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifying opportunities and aggressively pitching talent.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with agents/CD's/publicists/attorneys/talent.
- Developing and creating strategies for talent.
- Participating in development meetings.
- Actively attending showcases/improv shows/screenings to scout new talent.
- Thinking outside of the box for client opportunities - i.e. digital media, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. Degree in Film, Communication, Literature, Law, etc.
- At least 1 year as a Manager or Agent, or 2 years Coordinator/Jr. Manager
- Working knowledge of entertainment law and union contracts.
- Creative and pragmatic thinking.
- Knowledge of studio execs/producers/CD's/agents.
- Desire to be entrepreneurial.
