Newly formed entertainment consultancy firm seeks a Rights Management Administrator (Independent Contractor) to consult with a wide range of clients in the entertainment industry. The role will be responsible for researching, analyzing, tracking and resolving issues relating to film and television rights, clearances, hold backs, and overall availability for Film, Television, Web, and New Media content.
review /abstract third party acquisition, distribution and format agreements as well as program and rights information forms, internal and third party program schedules, and various rights/availability reports to determine distribution rights, restrictions, and holdbacks.
Maintains rights, clearances, holdback and any other restrictions in mainframe database for other territories and rights.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Familiarity with FilmTrack, RightsTracker, MediaRights, cpRights, SAP, and/or other rights management programs commonly used throughout the entertainment industry
1-3 years rights management experience (preferred)
International film distribution experience (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong research, analytical and project management skills.
Ability to work remotely / must have own computer
