• Maintains procedures to ensure smooth workflow and processes involved in producing daily live television show and in management of a production facility
• Manage facility and delegate all necessary tasks to studio crew, production PA's or other staff
• Oversee production logistics
• Create, maintain, and distribute production calendar for daily live television show
• Communicate any changes in production schedule to staff
• Create budget estimates for individual productions and act as first point of contact for outside invoices by talent and crew
• Track and manage all show related costs, keeping Operations team informed of status
• Oversee equipment related to productions outside of studio and ensure that equipment is returned and maintained
• Create and book schedules for third party crew necessary for the production of content
• Track talent schedules and hours on a weekly basis
• Act as a liaison between production, operations, and studio crew
Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Detail oriented and comfortable working with budgets
• Ability to complete projects accurately and in a timely manner
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Working under strict deadlines, the Line Producer must be able to prioritize projects and workload
• Familiarity with union guidelines
