Feature Film development coordinator
Film Production Company in Culver City is looking to hire a feature film development coordinator to support executives in all areas of film development operations and administrative support. Ideal candidate should be able to multi-task, familiar with industry execs, managers and agents, computer savvy, extremely organized and have a passion for genre films. Excellent communication and computer skills essential (Outlook/Word/Excel). Ability to complete administrative tasks and projects with little guidance.
Responsibilities include: coverage on scripts, proposals and film pitches, conduct development research, notes on company projects, follow trades and track film festivals, research and help create pitch decks, scheduling meetings and travel, rolling calls, maintaining submission database, expense reports, update/manage internal project databases, special projects as needed and overseeing interns. Basic qualifications
-Administrative experience at an agency, management company studio or production company a must.
-Desires a career as a film producer or development executive
-Interest in genre films
-Willing and able to travel to film festivals and films shooting out of state
