Responsibilities OVERVIEW
This position will be responsible for Accounts Payable processes, and will work closely with the Controllership team to ensure timely & accurate financial reporting and period closing. This role will also be focussed on supporting the FP&A function in driving financial performance across CNBC International, with particular emphasis on cost management. The role will provide actionable analysis and insights to enable management to make relevant business decisions. In addition, Qualifications/Requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform day-to-day Accounts Payable duties, supported by intern. Drive AP automation projects to minimize manual transactional processes.
• Responsible for extensive reporting, analysis and forecasting of all costs incurred across APAC and EMEA regions.
• Ownership of detailed budget tracking for all opex and capex. Provide regular updates and communication to all Budget owners.
• Work with International Controllership team to implement comprehensive processes that ensure all expenditure is captured accurately & consistently across all CNBC International entities (cost centres / functional areas / GL accounts / Internal Orders / WBS).
• Responsible for cash flow forecasting and liaison with Treasury for foreign currency purchases
• Perform quarterly accounting closing cycles working closely with APAC & EMEA Controllership teams. Includes intercompany reconciliations, accruals, account reconciliations, and corporate data request submissions
• Provide critical support to Budgeting process. Build detailed models to roll up costs for each budget owner and incorporate into overall P&L forecast. Deliver customized budget packs to budget owners in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with other FP&A responsibilities as required (e.g. revenue metrics, ad-hoc analysis, corporate data requests)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Finance / Accounting Degree
• 3-5 years MNC experience (media or telecommunications experience preferred)
• Strong PC skills essential (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse preferred
• Extensive analytical, problem solving & communication skills
• Solid business perspective
• Highly energetic & self-motivated
• Mature & professional approach to handling sensitive information
• Positive attitude and constantly seeks to improve things
• Strong analytical and technical skills
