Back Roads Entertainment is a successful unscripted TV production company based in NYC. Our credits currently include Joking Off (MTV), Big Bad BBQ Brawl (Cooking Channel) and Lake Life (DIY). We are currently looking for Post Production interns with a passion for reality TV who are available a minimum of 2 days and up to 3 full days a week.
Primary responsibilities of our interns will be to assist in the post production department, working with the post manager and coordinator to help with work flow, learn about the post production process from ingestion to exporting, and to support the team with the deliverables of projects. Interns will participate in a 13-week lesson plan that covers all aspects of the TV production process, from development to production to post-production. The curriculum will include weekly classes from Back Roads employees as well as weekly pitch sessions with the entire development and casting staff.
Applicants are REQUIRED to obtain school credit for this internship. Please email cover letter and resume. Working knowledge of Avid, Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects, and Excel is preferred.
