Description:
411 Music Group is currently seeking a Music Licensing Manager who specializes in publishing, sales, production music and sync licensing. The applicant should be able to contribute to the growth and expansion of the company, maximize revenue, and work with new clients in the sync space. This is a full-time position.
Start Date: ASAP
Experience:
- A self-starter with a minimum 2 years of sales experience in the music licensing sector
- Client relationships in synchronization in the US
- Has a proven track record of sales and the ability to hit sales targets
- Production Music Library experience and a history of negotiating and securing blanket
licenses
- Experience pitching, quoting, negotiating, and securing needle drop licenses for
commercial artists
- Excellent at building relationships and has existing contacts (i.e. supervisors, ad
agencies, brands, creative execs, editors, producers, show runners, and talent such as
artists and composers)
- Ability to create pitch reports and updates on various markets
- Familiar with search engines such as DISCO, SourceAudio, etc., and can create
accurate playlists based on creative briefs
- Flexible and excited to attend conferences, music events, live shows, and awards shows
(once things open up again!)
- Has a total understanding of copyright and publishing
- Ability to be innovative and take the initiative
- On time without restricted time commitments
- Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, G-Suite, etc.
- Experience with a CRM
Responsibilities:
- Successfully represent the 411 Catalog in the US (other territory experience is a bonus)
- New business outreach, more specifically for Digital Media, Trailers, Films and Gaming
- Music Searches
- Provide ongoing service to clientele via phone, email, meetings, and doing regular
pitching, searches, and outreach to maintain existing relationships
- Negotiate Blanket Agreements for a production music library
- Field and negotiate fees for licenses/custom projects and issue licenses/invoices
- Handle correspondence relating to quotes, contracts, and cataloging
- Participate in conferences, company meetings, and travel as needed
- Contribute to team strategy, A&R, creative, and team building suggestions
- Assess client needs and follow up on leads and deliveries to confirm contractual
obligations/conditions have been fulfilled
- Maintain and organize assets/agreements in folders on Box
- Track and meet client deadlines
