30WEST, a premiere entertainment finance company located in beautiful Santa Monica is seeking a Coordinator to support the CEO.
The QUALIFIED candidate must have:
• A four-year business degree (M.B.A. preferred but not required),
-intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint fluency,
• 2-3 years of experience within the financial industry either with a media investment company, finance company or private equity firm,
OR 2-3 years of experience in the business development department of a media company (in place of the finance experience), and
• an interest in, passion for and proven following of the Media/Entertainment industries.
S/he will have excellent organizational skills and be able to multi-task while remaining calm under pressure. This individual will be involved in a range of projects across the media landscape. Dynamic, positive, superb communicator, high energy and extremely organized with an unfailing attention to detail are ALL MUST-HAVES.
Day-to-day duties will include heavy phones, scheduling, research, creating internal decks, memos, preparing corporate and project documents and decks, summarizing corporate investment opportunities, generating invoices, arranging travel, etc.
The IDEAL candidate will have an M.B.A. plus a minimum of two years of previous executive assistant experience plus the QUALIFIED CANDIDATE requirements listed above. Ideally, s/he will be business minded and be able to read and understand balance sheets and P&L statements. S/he will be advanced with Adobe Photoshop and will be proactive and able to juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities with grace and positivity. S/he will also excel in a high energy, dynamic work environment and be willing to stay in this position and learn for a minimum of 2 years.
