Management company in BH is seeking an assistant to a television manager. We are looking for an ambitious, motivated individual with a strong work ethic. Someone who is resourceful organized and can multi task in a fast paced environment. Ideal candidate must have experience working in television at an agency/management co., network, production or digital company. Individual must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with clients and industry executives. This person should have a thorough knowledge of television and an interest in emerging media.
Candidate needs to maintain a constant awareness of industry trends and keep up to date on all content related trends and information. Should have interest in emerging media related sectors. Must possess knowledge of key players in the TV industry including; emerging talent, agencies, television, digital executives and top producers.
Want someone who enjoys the creative process, but if you are an emerging screenwriter, actor, director or a thespian, this is not the job for you.
Responsibilities
Coordinate meetings
Effective communicator
Possess excellent phone skills
Prepare reports and grids
Researching special projects
Organize schedules
Requirements
1-2 years' previous Assistant experience supporting high-level executives, with a strong preference for those with prior television experience, either at an agency, network, or production company.
BA degree
A love and passion for all TV forms and genres, with a strong interest in growing into a career in unscripted and scripted television
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, take direction efficiently, and pay strict attention to detail.
Proficiency in Mac operating system and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of social media platforms and trends is a plus
Must possess strong writing and negotiation skills
Excellent phone demeanor and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with others, and work effectively either alone or in a team setting.
