Full Time Job
This position is a unique opportunity for a talented and motivated candidate to work closely with two of the company's key managers to help build 20th Century Fox Television's TV brands. In this position, you will support 2 key executives in developing brand strategy, managing research activities, and constructing branding and partnership opportunities for our TV series. In addition, you will have close interaction with different functional areas within 20th Century Fox Television, as well as other business units within the Fox Entertainment Group. This position will provide career-growth opportunities.
General Administrative Responsibilities
Provide administrative assistance and key organizational support such as:
• Manage phones.
• Manage appointment calendars (includes scheduling of all internal and external appointments) and contacts.
• Travel & entertainment expense reporting.
• General office management (mail, shipping, faxing, photocopying & filing).
• Travel arrangements (as needed).Specific Support to SVP Research
• Learn to use TV research specific software programs including Nielsen's National TV View and N-Power.
• Update daily and weekly research trackings.
• Analyze Nielsen ratings and help field ratings related research requests.
• Monitor and analyze online viewer feedback for all TCFTV programs on all networks.
• Create and maintain daily on-air promotion databases and reports.
• Help recruit, train and manage interns.
• Help setup and attend focus groups.
• Maintenance of research materials and data.
Specific Support to EVP, Brand Management and Digital
• Assist in development, preparation and ongoing management of brand plans.
• Prepare presentations to internal management and potential 3rd-party partners.
• Assist with building financial models and budgets for current and future business opportunities.
• Create and proofread letters, memos, spreadsheets and expense reports.
• Keeping an eye on competitors, watching other networks shows and paying attention to their new media, streaming, promotions and placements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred and at least 1 year administrative or related internship experience.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Outlook, Calendar and Database programs is a plus.
• Strong understanding of television production, marketing and distribution with up-to-date knowledge of new media / models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
