Who we're looking for:
1TwentyFour is looking for full time Social Media Manager to join its Thunder Child team to work with several of our amazing clients. The role of this manager will be to become a pillar of our team, building out and managing a range of short-term and long-term social strategies and campaigns. This one-in-a-million social savant will be responsible for all aspects of the development and engagement process, including pitching, strategizing, writing, creating, curating, managing, engaging and developing the voice and content across all native channels. The right candidate needs to be a big fan of pop-culture past and present with a love for movies, TV, Games and books. They must be able to see and think differently about how to use social, looking at new ways to engage and talk to the fans of our clients IP.
Responsibilities:
Be unafraid to move at the pace of social media, always thinking one step ahead, and be willing to adopt new channels, technologies and practices as overall consumer behavior evolves.
Passionately help grow the size of our clients social media channels, unlock new opportunities to engage with their audiences, and develop forward thinking, social media strategies, all while stewarding day-to-day management of their channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and more - including emerging platforms)
Establish budgets and clear goals across all platforms, test/learn/optimize, and always track against key KPIs and benchmarks via management of analytics, reporting and dashboards
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop on-brand, best-in-class digitally led content that drives brand and business goals
Own brand and social editorial calendar; determine the placement and cadence of content, paired with the right message, voice, creative, and tone, ensuring there is always an eye on what's happening and trending across the globe and the brand.
Build and strengthen relationships with social platform partners
Lead and manage the content calendar and accompanying budget for the high-quality production of each item in the content calendar, and ensure the timely delivery of everything we produce
Conceptualize and execute content, including graphics, memes, and videos for social media, digital advertising, and branded content
Work directly with client, management, the account director and supporting team members ensuring all assets, content, and materials necessary to execute on our press and partnership-related initiatives are approved
Leverage a variety of social tools to continuously gauge the effectiveness of content and analyze performance metrics to develop meaningful insights and recommendations
Work alongside content creators, project managers, designers and agency contributors to help create compelling design which delivers on business prioritizes.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in content or brand marketing for an entertainment IP or studio, with proven ability to develop effective and engaging marketing programs
Familiarity with social media management and monitoring platforms including, but not limited to Google Trends, YouTube Content ID, Twitter/Facebook/Instagram analytics.
Deep connection with family and animated brand ecosystem, including but not limited to: pop-culture, entertainment, food, toys, fashion, music or sports
A track record of creating new, creative, and meaningful content that connects users to brands, culture, and/or experiences
Understanding of maintaining a brand's voice and executing a consistent look throughout a campaign
Strong copywriting skills
A positive, curious, playful disposition with a sense of humor and a genuine love for the internet and online shopping
Exceptional project leadership skills with strong attention to detail and an eye for design
Must be a passionate and motivated self-starter who can thrive in a smaller, fast-paced, high growth company with a flexible but incredibly active work environment
Must currently reside in the Los Angeles area
