Intern - Creative Development

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Production company that partners with ad agencies and brands to create valuable and effective content seeks self-motivated, dependable, and enthusiastic intern to join the 1stAveMachine team. Projects include commercials, films, music videos, television shows, and documentaries.

Responsibilities:
• Work alongside producers and creative development team from idea development through project completion, filling in whatever gaps may arise
• Assist with shooting and editing on various projects
• Conduct research for shoots and pitches

Additional Skills:
• Shooting/editing experience, especially docu-style setups
• Understanding of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop especially)
• Knowledge of both still and video cameras and equipment
• Ability to multi-task when given multiple assignments at once
• Organized and detail-oriented when completing tasks
• Able to use discretion when necessary regarding projects in development

Internship is two-three days a week. Ideal candidates are eager, young filmmakers looking to learn about content development and creative marketing. Position is unpaid, however lunch is provided and transportation costs are covered.
