The Role and What You'll Do:
As an integrated company, 160over90 sits at the forefront of cultural influence to effectively connect brands with consumers' passions. Under Global Marketing, the Partnerships team is comprised of subject matter experts around the world helping clients create, negotiate, activate and evaluate integrated marketing programs.
Based in Los Angeles, New York, or Charlotte this Account Manager position will be part of a dedicated agency team responsible for managing sponsorship and experiential marketing initiatives for a key client that is focused on serving the financial needs of our nation's military community.
Responsibilities
• Assist in leading the strategic development and activation of client's NFL league sponsorship and MLB team partnership
• Lead negotiations of athlete talent endorsement deals, including appearances, content, and social media messaging
• Direct management of an account coordinator position
• Develop detailed project plans for assigned events, and manage timelines to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met and within budget
• Work directly with client on a daily basis to ensure various projects are developed and executed
• Partner with account team members, internal divisions, external stakeholders, and third party vendors as needed in the execution of events, and ensure communication is consistent and thorough
• Create and maintain client-ready materials, such as POVs, recommendations, and activation plans
• Collaborate with internal creative staff to brief necessary projects and ensure high quality, on-time deliverables
You Have These:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant agency, team, or client-based account management experience
• Experience working on and/or with sports platforms/properties – NFL experience preferred
• Experience working with talent and talent representation on deal points and fulfillment
• Participation in the selection, negotiation, and evaluation of successful sponsorship programs
• Proven ability to work efficiently, prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results
• Demonstrate understanding of military culture, protocol and etiquette
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to problem-solve independently and in groups
• Military experience and/or a desire to work with military-based programs is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with client management experience preferred
• Ability to travel 25% of the time (including weekend events)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite & Photoshop

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Range Minimum:
$75,000 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$100,000 annually
